NGO NEST Berlin
NGO NEST Berlin was born in 2016 out of an initiative by young professionals in the fields of NGO, Social Innovation, European projects, European mobility, Networking and Non Formal Education methods.
The organization aims at advancing human, social and socioeconomic development of young people through creating and deploying a multilayered set of educational activities targeted at young people in cooperation with NGOs and stakeholders at the different levels. This aim will be pursued through an emphasis on networking with NGOs and stakeholder entities encompassing the local/regional/national dimensions (joint elaboration and implementation of educational programmes delivered through Non Formal Education methods involving different targets of the youth population ) as well as the European sphere (European project design, establishment of European networks of NGOs and stakeholders, offer of European mobility opportunities to young people).
NEST Berlin at the same time operates in connection with NGOs and stakeholders at the European level for the purpose of exchanging best practices in youth work and youth education, with the main aim of representing a transnational hub of innovation in NGO practices and coordination schemes between NGOs and stakeholders in Europe.
EduCompass
The Edu Compass Foundation was founded in 2015 as a private NGO according to the existing legal requirements of the Republic of Bulgaria.
We are a team of professionals in the field of education, employability and holistic healthcare.
We have developed a program with two board games for career orientation and development and a curriculum with it. We work with young people and adults to help with career orientation, career development and help them discover their skills, develop 21st-century skills and become lifelong learners. We help people develop employability skills, plan their career. We have trained over 5000 young people from 7 countries.
We also developed a peace education methodology and we train young people aged 14-20 in the fields of peace, holistic healthcare, and safety. We have trained over 400 students from 8 countries.
In our work, we use gamification, non formal learning, reflection, and experiential learning.
Comparative Research Network EV
The Comparative Research Network was founded in 2007 and worked since then in the field of adult education. The CRN Network is specialised in training activities within the fields of intercultural competences, intergenerational learning, mobilities and migration. Additionally the CRN is specialised in creating and performing evaluation and dissemination processes. CRN lately gained through various projects both as coordinator and participant expertise in game design in education, storytelling and community reporting, where the network is currently carrying out training for a number of target groups.
Due to CRN being organised as a transnational network, it has an international scope. At the moment it employs 3 permanent and around 6 freelance staff, and has a network of more than 120 members, located in almost every European country. As a NGO CRN is non-profit oriented and performs crucial part of its work on a voluntary bases. Major target groups of the CRN are beside trainer marginalized groups, such as persons living in remote rural areas, seniors and unemployed. Generally CRN is seeking to link social science with civil society actions – that is why CRN joined itself various local, national and transnational networks.
Youth in Science and Business Foundation (YSBF)
Developing and spreading new ideas and technologies is our passion. Youth in Science and Business Foundation (YSBF) is a non-profit organization aimed at supporting entrepreneurship, innovative ideas and creativity.
YSBF has been dealing with several projects on how to promote knowledge of young people and on issues related to promotion of creativity and innovative thinking to promote entrepreneurship as a career choice among young people and disadvantaged groups in the society. We hope to be helpful in providing more opportunities to young people with the help of entrepreneurship promotion and setting a footing for more elaborate possibilities of work for young people, especially for young people from disadvantaged backgrounds (e.g. migrants).
Since the establishment of YSBF in 2001, we have received funding for our projects from EU-funds, private sector companies, Estonian government and international organisations. We are based in Tallinn, Estonia, but our projects are mostly international. We have more than 18 years of experience in projects related to young people, science, technology and dissemination of novel ideas.
YSBF considers it very important to involve into our activities various groups in society – including young people with disadvantaged background. Providing equal opportunities and fostering intercultural dialogue helps to overcome differences in Europe and within societies.
YSBF has been active in several projects, which help to promote entrepreneurship and innovation related topics in schools, companies and in wider society. We have been working with project “Hopework”, which aimed at helping refugees from Ukrainian conflict zones to use internet-based tools and portals in finding entrepreneurial working opportunities internationally.
Euro-net
EURO-NET is a not for profit association that is member or associated member of 58 international networks (5 of them are EU networks: EUROPE DIRECT, EUROGUIDANCE, EURODESK, SOLVIT and EBN-EUROPEAN BUSINESS & INNOVATION CENTRE NETWORK). EURO-NET has 61 own antennas in 22 different countries in Europe. EURO-NET gives to children, young people and adults these services:
– information and project development center
– organization of training courses, exchanges and cultural, artistic or sport activities
– sector study, research
– counseling, crisis support and prevention
– e-learning, networking, partnerships, training courses and workshops – publications, newspapers and web sites.
It has realized more than 385 European projects, especially with Youth and Youth in Action, Socrates, Leonardo, LLP, Progress, Daphne, Life, E-Aid, Culture, Creative Europe, Erasmus Plus (KA1, KA2 and KA3), Representation in Italy of E.C., European Youth Foundation, Council of Europe, etc.
CECIS
Center for Education and Consulting Structural Instruments is a non profit association established in Romania, city of Targu Jiu. CECIS was founded in 2010 having as objectives:
• promotion and development of educational activities targetted to children, youngsters or adults from different social backgrounds
• development and implementation of national and international projects focussed on the promotion of human development, active participation and non formal education
• promotion of cooperation activities between public and private sector in order to facilitate the exchange of best practices, development of instruments for sustainable cooperation, increasing and consolidating the European dimension in education.
• sustaining the dialogue between persons and institutions with different cultural background while promoting European identity and diversity. In all the projects, activities or services we offer, we approach European interest themes and we follow to offer educational support for personal and professional development of the individual. The target groups we address in our activities are: children, young people, youth workers, adults from different social backgrounds: trainers, teachers, parents, social workers.
